“My mission is to help women reveal the beauty that is already there”.

Welcome! My name is Bonnie Stanley, and I am the person behind the Intimate Lens. I have a great passion for what I do. I provide a way for women to express themselves and to reveal how strong, beautiful and sexy they truly are. I believe all women are beautiful in their own unique way and deserve to feel this beauty. I have been married for 20 years and have two beautiful daughters. Having two daughters it even more important to me to set an example of empowering women and changing the way we feel about and see ourselves. That is why it is my mission to help women reveal the beauty that is already there. Whether that is a sexy, flirty boudoir session, a Real Beauty session, or a maternity session that captures one of the most beautiful times in a woman’s life, this is what The Intimate Lens captures.

I believe beauty does not come in any one particular shape or size. Photography is my way of helping women change their attitudes about the way they look and how they feel about themselves. The moment a woman looks at her photos and her eyes light up and she says, “Wow! That’s me?” THAT moment is the meaning behind it all.

I create my studio space so all women feel relaxed to have fun and express themselves, to feel beautiful, and to have photos that capture this beauty as a reminder to them they ARE beautiful no matter where they are in their lives. A woman’s beauty exists now, not after they lose weight, not after months in a gym, not after they tone this or tuck that and not after the baby is born, but right now in this moment in time.

My photography is about empowering women to be who they are and love who they are and walk around with confidence. I want them to really see the beauty that is there. Sometimes it takes a photo to begin that process. I call it Photo-Therapy!

I absolutely love what I do! I have so much fun meeting women from all walks of life, going through the journey with them, and getting to know them and their unique styles. This all helps me understand who they are and how I can capture their essence in photography. Because of my great passion for empowering women and wanting to start the conversation of what beauty really is, I have created Mission: Beautiful.
